Picking the right career path

The striking vehicles of “Artimobile” made a stop-over in the central courtyard of the Council headquarters yesterday.
The aim was to show college students of 13 - 15 years old the various career opportunities open to them - with its sights set clearly on the future and confident of the personal and professional success of youngsters who aspire to excellence.
The cute and clever cars were fully kitted out with interactive software and packed with information about the careers available.
It’s part of a national operation which has been taken on the road by professional organisations and the Chambers of Commerce and Trades which is raising awareness in youngsters about 250 different careers.
They also had the opportunity to talk with tradespeople and training professionals. Part of the programme of “Professional Discovery”, it has been put in place with the collaboration of the Ministry of Education.
From 13th to 15th March: Regional andDepartment Contest for the Best Apprentice, Halle au Blé, Alençon. Nearly 100 young adults will be presenting their work and undergoing assessments.
