The equine jewel in the crown

Orne County Council honoured the best local breeders and trainers in horse racing and equine sports. It took place during the annual Stallion Parade at the Haras du Pin on Saturday 7th March.
Among the stars of 2008 were 8 thoroughbreds, 8 trotters and 7 Selle Français. Also featured were the impressive Percheron draft horse, emblem of Le Perche in the east of the county and Norman donkeys.
