The council sits in session every trimester under the authority of the president. These are important occasions in the life of the county council. At this County Assembly the 40 general councillors represent the inhabitants of their district.
During the session important decisions are taken which affect the life of the county and help to shape the Orne of tomorrow. The councillors debate and vote on reports presented by the 6 specialist working committees.
Sessions are open to the press and the public.
