The next outing from the Calendar of Nature Walks (Balades dans les espaces naturels de l’Orne 2009) is a guided walk in the Gorge de Villiers.
Themed walk : Along the water (suitable for families)
Sunday 22nd March at 3pm on the site carpark, in the hamlet of Villiers at Saint Ouen-le-Brisoult
Departure from the Maison du Parc at Carrouges at 2.30pm

In the Andaines forest near Bagnoles-de-l’Orne, the Gorges de Villiers offers a picturesque view over the countryside. Witht the help of the guide, you can discover the rich and varied natural life around you. The wilderness of this legendry site will charm you - the sacred spring of Chaude-Fontaine and Gisèle the Fairy’s grotto. “Stories and legends” tours invite you to discover the marvels and magic of the area. You can also find out about wild plants and their uses.
