Business Leaders Conference

An unmissable date for the Orne: the Nouveau Décideurs is a conference for the recently-arrived business leaders in the county. In these times of financial instability, Alain Lambert wished to put a resolutely economic accent on the proceedings. The programme consisted of a welcoming speech from the President followed by a discussion with Michel Lafon (Orne Prefect) and the journalist Jean-Marc Sylvestre.
Amongst those invited were freelancers, representatives of the banking sector, many business CEOs and, of course, the 10 Nouveaux décideurs who were our guests of honour. Frank reflections and audacious ideas abounded, as we discussed possible ways out of the doldrums of the credit crunch. It was also an opportunity to meet colleagues and opposite numbers; as our ability to succeed with certainly depend on our capacity to work together and to pool our talents and resources.
