Development of the road between Flers and Argentan
- two public meetings
Orne County Council is going to develop the road between Flers and Argentan by creating a dual-carriageway. This big project, part of the Orne Road Plan (Plan Routier Ornais) has already undergone feasibility studies in 2004-2005 and was declared in the ‘public interest’ on the 10th April 2006 after public enquiries.
In order to present the detailed studies which have been carried out for certain villages and to advise about upcoming procedures before the commencement of works, the County Council is organising two public meetings:
Monday 20th April 2009 at 3.30pm in Landigou
(salle polyvalente)
for the Flers – Sainte Opportune section
Wednesday 22nd April 2009 at 3pm in Ecouché
(salle des fêtes - Avenue Léon Labbé)
for the Sevrai-Fontenai-sur-Orne section
During these meetings people will be able to discuss the characteristics of the project… including the integration of the route in the landscape, project management and expropriation.
The structural engineers and Council personnel will be able to respond to your questions about the project and its management as well as the time-scales involved.
