Golf Competition at the Golf de Bellême

Following the success of its first Golf Tournaments – organised annually since 2006 - the Perce-Neige Association is hoping to develop this major event.
This year it will be organising three regional competitions and one national competition, in an effort to publicise the charity and raise funds for its work in favour of people with mental disabilites. For the second year running, Sandrine Mendiburu (professional player from 1991 to 2001 and three-time winner of European titles) is our guest of honour.
Perce-Neige is organising a competition at the Bellême Golf Course in Orne, taking place on Saturday 16th May. It follows on from the competition at Sablé-Solesmes on the 29th March.
Competitors will be greeted by a representative from Perce-Neige and will then go on to the start of the competition. The prize-giving will take place at the end of the day during a drinks-party which will also be attended by residents of Perce-Neige House in Moulins-la-Marche (Orne).
The disabled residents of Perce-Neige Houses are involved in different competitions and in training on the putting-green. Golf is a big part of life for the residents – it helps with improving or maintaining skills and fitness. It’s an important part of building confidence and and a sense of self-worth.

The objective of this tournament is therefore that for the duration of the competition golf can work for the benefit of disabled people… Funds raised will go to initiating new projects and buying equipment for the Perce-Neige Houses. Thanks to such funding, the association is able to continue with its mission, which was started over 40 years ago by Lino Ventura.

Your entry fee qualifies for a 66% tax rebate for private individuals and a 60% rebate for business.
