To consult the timetables and signup online for the school bus, all you need to know is online at www.orne.fr - the Orne Council website.
You can subscribe and pay online (go to ‘Transports scolaires’ and then click on ‘Inscrivez-vous en ligne’) or look at the route for each bus with times and stoppage points (go to ‘Transports scolaires’ and then click on ‘Les horaires pour l’année scolaire 2009-2010′)
If you prefer you can still send your form by post. This will be essential for those who need to provide extra documents, eg. in cases where a demande is made for free transport.
The flat-rate for school buses is 60 euros for the 2009-2010 academic year for chicldren attending collège or lycée. Transport for pre-school and primary-school children is free. Families are only required to pay for a maximum of two children - subsequent children will be transported for free.
