Orne Council - Alain Lambert’s Blog

The Orne is currently engaged in promoting the territory as a great place to telework. Alain Lambert, President of Orne Council, reaffirmed the department’s commitment to this strategy in his July video message. A fan of the digital economy, he is keen to develop and secure this way of working which is still largely unknown in France.

Following on from the publication of a directory of teleworkers in the department, the next step is the development of a network of telecentres. These buildings will be equiped with the latest in technology and broadband and will provide office-space and meeting rooms, videoconferencing facilities, etc.
