September roadworks

The Council maintains 5,824kms of departmental roads. In 2008 it invested 24 M euros in the Orne’s transport infrastructure. These are the principal roadworks carried out over the next month…
Alençon 3 district
Forges
Resurfacing on the D1 towards Radon for a distance of <2km. Between 2nd and 4th September. Road closed.
Mêle-sur-Sarthe district
Boitron
On the D214 by-pass, resurfacing along1.5kms until the 25th September. Road closed.
Sées district
Sées
Safety work on the slip road of the D438 from 1st to 15th September. Possible delays.
Neauphe-sous-Essai
Important safety work on the D438 from 1st to 15th September. Possible delays.
Carrouges district

Safety work to the D19 all month. Possible delays (contraflow)
On the D916 between la Ferté Macé and Rânes, important resurfacing is being carried out along2.5km between 14th September and 9th October. The road will be closed at some points during the works.
Domfront district
Champsecret
Modernisation on the D21 leaving Domfront towards la Ferrière-aux-Etangs. Work is being carried out along 8km from now until the end of the year, with a total cost of 6M euros. Expect delays.

Resurfacing along 1km of the D976 near la Raterie at Domfront-Gare. Delays until 11th September (contraflow).
Saint-Bômer-les-Forges
On the D56 towards Lonlay-l’abbaye, resurfacing along 2.5km. 28th September to 2nd October. Road closed.
Flers Nord district

Major modernisation on the D962 to create a new interchange. Expect delays until mid-September. These works are costing an estimated 4.5M euros.

Work on the gyratory for the D962 at la Selle-la-Forge between 21st abd 25th September. Road closed.

Safety work to improve visibility on the D19 at la croix aux fiaux during September. Delays (contraflow).
Argentan-Ouest district

Creation of a dual carriageway for 2km on the D924 towards the A88 and Flers. Expect delays until the end of the year. These works will cost an estimated 6.6M euros

Work on the D158 gyratory from 31st August to 1st September. Delays.
Merlerault district

Work on the D926 in the centre of the village until the 11th September. Road closed at nigh.

1km of resurfacing along the D664 on the 15th September. Road closed.
Creation of an intersection on the D926 from the 14th September to 15th October. Delays (contraflow)
L’Aigle
Creation of a gyratory on the D418 south of l’Aigle near the D926, 14th September to 15the October. Delays (contraflow).
500m of resurfacing on the D12 from 16th to 18th September. Road closed during the day.
Moulins-la-Marche district

Resurfacing on the D298 towards Auguaise along 1.3km. 14th September. Contraflow.
Pervenchères district
