Dictionaries received with thanks

This September the Council offered free dictionaries to the nearly four thousand 10 and 11 year olds starting collège across the department.
On the 15th October Alain Lambert, councillor for the district of Putanges-Pont-Ecrepin, handed out dictionaries at the ESSAT in Giel-Courteilles.
The Council owns the 31 collèges in the Orne and is thus responsible for their construction, renovation, maintenance and day-to-day management. It is also in charge of their fixtures and fittings and computer equipment. Every day it ensures the safe transport of 17,000 students around the department.
Alain Lambert, President of Orne Council, was profoundly and sincerely touched to receive so many letters of thanks from children who had received a dictionary. He feels proud and happy to be able to contribute to the success of today’s youngsters in such a way.
He sends his best wishes to all students across the department.
