Saturday 17th October saw President Alain Lambert at the inauguration of the celebrated Apple Festival at Vimoutiers. Organised by maire and councillor Guy Romain, and supported for a long time by Orne Council, the event has become an unmissable celebration of this symbol of the Orne.
The legendary fruit has been eaten and celebrated time out of mind. This event will ensure that it continues to be so in the future. Thanks to the organisers and artisans who participated this year, and we hope to see you there next year.
