Orne Council has organised a public meeting/lecture with father Guy Gilbert on Thursday 19th November at the Halle aux Toiles in Alençon. Free entry.
This open meeting will be an opportunity to pose questions to Father Gilbert about various modern-day parenting issues… how to bring up children in today’s world; how to deal with puberty and questions of sexuality; what position to take vis-à-vis the TV, video games and the internet; how to keep communication channels open with your teenage children…
Two experts will also be present to respond to questions, Philipp Geissler, psychiatrist from the Orne Psychotherapeutic centre and Delphine Minoui, a middle-east correspondent for France Inter and le Figaro and author of the recently-published biography I Am Nujood, Age 10 and Divorced (”Moi, Nojoud, 10 ans, divorcée”)
