Golf competition cancelled

Following the success of its first Golf Tournaments – organised annually since 2006 - the Perce-Neige Association is hoping to develop this major event.
This year it will be organising three regional competitions and one national competition, in an effort to publicise the charity and raise funds for its work in favour of people with mental [...]
Laurent Beauvais, President of the Basse-Normandie Region, Alain Lambert, President of Orne County Council and François Roche-Bruyn, Director of the National Haras* met on the 24th April to discuss plans to develop the scope and site of the Haras du Pin.
The main aspects of the project will be finalised at the end of June 2009…
The International Equestrian Federation has chosen Normandy to host the World Equestrian Games 2014!
Orne County Council honoured the best local breeders and trainers in horse racing and equine sports. It took place during the annual Stallion Parade at the Haras du Pin on Saturday 7th March. Among the stars of 2008 were 8 thoroughbreds, 8 trotters and 7 Selle Français. Also featured were the impressive Percheron draft horse, emblem of Le Perche in the east of the county and Norman donkeys.
They’re named Natagora, Equiano, Belle and Célèbre, Qualita Bourbon, Oiseau de feu and Rockeuse du Rib, to name but a few… but what do they have in common?
They were born in the Orne and they have won some of the highest accolades in national and international competitions. By their sides, their breeders, trainers and rider whose combined talents have helped to shape the Orne’s renown in the horse world…
